Matt Kenseth

Matt Kenseth began his racing career on Wisconsin's short track circuit. At just 16 years old, he took his first checkered flag after only three races. After dominating the state circuit, Kenseth moved up through the racing ranks to eventually win Rookie of the Year in 2000, the Cup championship in 2003 and the 2004 IROC championship. In 2006, Kenseth set single season career highs in three categories with 15 top-five finishes, 1,132 laps led and an average finishing position of 9.8. Kenseth is one of two drivers to make the Chase for the Cup in all five seasons since its inception in 2004.
